This diploma thesis, which is called Aristocracy in diplomatic services demonstrated by the example of František Schwarzenberg and Jindřich Kolowrat-Krakowský, sets as its goal to describe the position of the nobility in Czechoslovak society after the establishment of the republic and clarify involvement of Czech nobles in diplomatic services. Specifically, the work will be devoted to František Schwarzenberg and Jindřich Kolowrat-Krakowský, who both served as the Czechoslovak ambassador. Then I I will also focus on the history of the families from which the men were descended, as well as their lives outside of diplomacy. A republic that outlived itself. The Emperors of the Julio-Claudian dynasty and their inner politics

The subject of the thesis are the Emperors of the Julio-Claudian dynasty. The author is dealing with steps that Emperors of the first dynasty took to change the current republican establishment in the so called principate. The main point is the relationship between the Emperors and the social elite, primarily the senate. On the relationship between the emperor and the senate is viewed in two levels, namely the emperor and the senate as whole and the emperor and the senators as individuals. The thesis also analyses the dividing of the roman Provinces between the power of the senate and the power of the emperor as well as the intervention in this dividing. The attitude of the Emperors towards their ancestors is also part of the work.

Who Is the Far-Right Voter in Slovakia Today?

This thesis deals with far-right parties in Slovakia. The objective is to compare them based on selected factors in order to answer the question: Who is the far-right voter in Slovakia today? For this purpose, the most successful far-right parties in recent years were chosen: the Slovak National Party (SNS), the People's Party Our Slovakia (ĽSNS), and a new formation called Republic. The factors adopted are characteristics and genesis, electorate and geographic support definition, and electoral volatility. The paper is divided into four parts. The first part concerns the far-right in Eastern Europe and Slovakia especially. In the second part, the focus is placed on the milestones that shaped and changed the Slovak political environment. Specifically, these are the Slovak state, the transformation period, Mečiar and anti-Hungarian politics, the fall of Mečiar, Fico and a government with the SNS, and the murder of Ján Kuciak. The third chapter analyses individual parties according to the factors mentioned above. Finally, the comparison itself is approached, where differences are identified but particularly parallels. Based on these findings, the author subsequently answers the research question.

Election of president Emil Hácha and his image in the media in contemporary newspapers at the turn of 1938-1939

Bachelor thesis "Election of president Emil Hacha and his media image in period newspapers at turn of 1938 - 1939" deals with the acceptance of Munich Agreement which meant passing our border territory on to Nazi Germany. The thesis deals with Edvard Benes abdication and with factors of the nomination, vote and presidential work of newly elected president Emil Hacha. The thesis shows Hacha's election, his media image in the period newspapers and the circumstances and effects of his leading political position in Czechoslovakia from December 16, 1938 when Hacha became a potential presidential candidate to March 16, 1939 when the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia was formed. The articles for the analysis were taken from daily newspapers Pravo lidu, Narodni prace, Lidove noviny, Venkov a Ceske slovo.

The Head of State in the constitutional system of the Czech Republic: de iure and de facto

Diploma thesis "The Head of State in the constitutional system of the Czech Republic: de iure and de facto" discourses both provisions, which integrate the institution of the president of the republic in constitution, and the virtual implementation of this uppermost authority in the state. At the beginning, the thesis deals with the historical dimension of the issue. It speaks of the general development and history of the office in Czech lands. Hereupon a depiction of the theoretical extent of this office follows. A large verge is devoted to the placement and the powers of the president in the constitution. The pragmatic part of the thesis consists of two case studies. The first one deals with the presidency of Václav Havel. The second one deals with the execution of the office by Václav Klaus. An extra attention is paid to the analysis of the accordance between the theoretical and pragmatic pursuance of the office of president of the Czech Republic.

Results: Overview of the structure of the integrate rescue systém, definitions of basic terms, division of emergencies, brief characteristics of the region of Liberec and its development in the period 2013 - 2018, analysis of preventive measures in fire protection, thein development and comparison with consequences of emergencies.
